Actor producer Preeti Jhangiani unveils poster of her upcoming film “Wajood”

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Model, actress and film producer Preeti Jhangiani has called for efforts to spread awareness about the issue of child trafficking to eradicate this menace from society. Speaking after unveiling the poster of her upcoming film production venture “Wajood”, based on issue of child trafficking, here on Saturday night, Preeti, talking to UNI, said,'though child trafficking is an issue that we cannot tackle alone, we need to make all efforts to spread awareness about this issue to eradicate child trafficking from society. Directed by Virender Paswan, 'Wazood' is being produced by Preeti's film production company named Cloud One Entertainment. Preeti, who made her acting debut in Bollywood with Aditya Chopra's 'Mohabbetain', said Wajood is based on a true story. Preeti said that a part of the film has already been shot in India, while the rest of the film will be shot in London next month. Talking to UNI, the director of Wajood, Virender Paswan said that the objective of the film is to spread awareness among the people about the increasing menace of child trafficking in our society. 'Through our research on this issue, we are trying to present the story of a boy who gets trapped in the net of trafficking and fights for his survival,' he said. He said the lead character's name is Ishan. Speaking about his role, the lead actor of the film, Amrish Singh said, “I have been cast as a lead in several Bhojpuri films, but it is my first chance to star beside Preeti Jhangiani in a Bollywood project.” 'The story of the film is very interesting and audiences are going to like it,' the actor said. On the occasion, Cloud One Entertainment also launched the poster of another Bollywood film "Mandi" and a Bhojpuri film "Dil Lagana Hain Toh Landanwalli Se", which will be produced under the banner.
