Action will be taken against female IAS officer for humiliating girls: Nitish

Patna, Sep 29 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday categorically stated that action would be taken against female IAS officer Harjot Kaur Bhamra for humiliating a girl during a function on Wednesday.
Kumar while interacting with media persons here, said that the state government was providing all sorts of assistance to girls and women and any act of humiliating them could not be tolerated at all.
He was responding to a query of media persons regarding the National Commission for Women (NCW) taking cognizance of IAS officer Harjot Kaur humiliating a girl publicly during a function when she asked for making available sanitary pads free of cost by the government.
