Action taken on 3,703 complaints of MCC violations in poll-bound Telangana: CEO

Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Election officials have taken action in 3,703 C-Vigil complaints of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violations after finding them to be genuine out of a total 5,291 C-Vigil complaints received covering 16 types of violations so far, State Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rajat Kumar said on Monday.

In a release here, he said out of them, major chunk of 2,210 complaints related to pasting / displaying of posters or banners without permission.
