Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 22 2016 7:43PM Action plan to improve power distribution systemVijayawada Jan 22 (UNI) In order to further reduce Transmission and Distribution losses to Single digit, the target set by Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu, APTRANSCO has finalised an action plan for improving the infrastructure facilities in transmission and distribution Systems and expedited implementation of green corridor projects. It is contemplated to invest around Rs.6,000 crores towards the strengthening of transmission network in AP, including Capital Region Development Area. The Transmission Projects includes under-ground cabling, Gas Insulated Sub-stations, Transmission and Sub-transmission System Improvement.The government directed APTRANSCO to complete 1st Phase of Wind Power Evacuation by March, 2016.
