Action against candidates for not publicising their criminal antecedents

Patna, Oct 31(UNI) Election Commission on Saturday warned that action would be taken against candidates who had not publicised their criminal antecedents.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh said here that as per directive of Election Commission, those candidates having criminal antecedents like cases pending against them and
convicted in courts , were required to publicise in local media at least three times. Candidates not complying with directive of the commission would have to face the option, he added.
