Accidents claim three lives in UP

Mirzapur,Jul 9 (UNI) Three people died in separate accidents here on Thursday.
Police sources said, Devendra (19), a resident of Kherahi village, had gone to the Badsagar canal in the Cheroiram village in the Lalganj area to bathe. His leg suddenly slipped and he fell into the deeper end and drowned.
People present nearby took him out but he died, the sources further said.
In another incident, Suresh Yadav, a resident of the Kamhari village in the Jigna area, was going to Hargarh on a bike along with his wife Pushpa.
Meanwhile, Pushpa fell down from the bike but the biker realised the same after traveling some distance and went back and took the injured to the hospital. However, the doctors declared her brought dead.
In a separate incident, a 45-year-old woman was run down by a train while crossing the railway lines near the Sumatiya village in the Jigna area. The woman was yet to be identified, they added.
