Accidental insurance for coconut climbers

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 4 (UNI) An accidental insurance scheme has been introduced to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh to coconut tree climbers and coconut harvesters by the Coconut Development Board.
The Kera Suraksha Insurance Scheme was implemented by the Board in association with Oriental Insurance Company Limited, a release said on Tuesday
The scheme provides coverage to coconut tree climbers, Neera Technicians, coconut harvesters and 'Friends of Coconut Tree Trainees.'
