ACB sleuths conducts raids on various Thasildar offices in AP district

Chittoor, Jan 24 (UNI) Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials along with staff conducted simultaneous surprise raids on various Thasildar Offices in this district on Friday.
ACB teams have raided various Thasildar offices including in Renigunta, Puttur, Srikalahasti and others which the officials yet to reveal the places.
The simultaneous raids took place following the directions from CM’s office as they have received many complaints from public across the state about rampant corruption at Thasildar offices and all the complaints were received through the Government grievance toll free number 14400, according to ACB DSP Allabaksh.
Responding to the grievance calls, it is learnt that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy directed all the ACB sleuths to conduct sudden and simultaneous raids on MRO offices whose were named in the complaints.
The raids in the Chittoor district took place under the supervision of ACB DSPs.
Reliable sources said, the ACB sleuths noticed many irregularities at many MRO offices in the district and had seized records and hard disks.
