Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jul 28 2016 11:53AM ACB files chargesheet in medical equipment purchase scam in NIMSHyderabad, Jul 28 (UNI) After a eight-month probe, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths have filed a chargesheet in Rs 3.14 crore medical equipment purchase scam in the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). The ACB had registered a case against former NIMS Director Dharma Rakshak and others under the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act and the Indian Panel Code (IPC) in November 2015 for violating tender norms while awarding medical equipment supply contracts in 2012. The ACB filed the chargesheet before the special judge for ACB and SPE cases here yesterday against five persons including Dharma Rakshak, former Medical Superintendent of NIMS, D Mukund Reddy, Former Financial Controller of the hospital V Sridhar, Managing partner of Global Life Serve Surya Prakash Reddy and the then South Asia manager of Berchtold Company Vikas Khanna.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #ACB files chargesheet in medical equipment purchase scam in NIMS
