ABVP holds Tiranga Yatra in Dharamshala to honour Pulwama Martyrs

Dharamshala, Feb 15 (UNI) The Dharamshala unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a Tiranga Yatra in Dharamshala to pay tribute to the 40 CRPF personnel who were martyred in the 2019 Pulwama attack.
The programme began with floral tributes to the portraits of the martyrs followed by a two-minute silence in their honour. Later, a Tiranga Yatra was taken out from the college campus, in which a large number of students participated enthusiastically. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”
On the occasion, unit secretary Anshul Sharma addressed the students and elaborated on the Pulwama attack, urging them to always remember the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs. He said the contribution of the soldiers towards safeguarding the unity, integrity and security of the nation is invaluable, and called upon the youth to always place national interest above all.
