About 60,000 Households without power in Finland as Storm Aila strikes

Helsinki, Sep 17 (UNI) Storm Aila has has left about 60,000 house holds without power in western and central regions of Finland, the country's energy association informed on Thursday.
Seismologists had warned about an approaching storm on Tuesday itself. The association gave details of the damage caused by the storm "Aila storm cut off electricity for 59,725 consumers. [A total of] 5,028 households were disconnected in Mustasaari [Korsholm], 3,542 in Pori, 3,231 in Uusikaupunki, and 2,256 in Eurajoki,".
