AAP leaders launch ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ campaign to make Punjab Drug-Free

Moga, Feb 16 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday launched a large-scale campaign against drug trafficking in Punjab, with party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann participating in a Village Defence Committee (VDC) oath ceremony in Moga.
The initiative, called ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’, aims to tackle drug abuse through enforcement, public participation, and rehabilitation measures.
Keirwal and Mann said that previous governments, including the Shiromani Akali Dal, the BJP, and the Congress, had allowed drug abuse to become widespread in the state.
