States » North » DIEPosted at: May 20 2019 7:32PM AAP contested LS polls on core public-centric issues: Bhagwant MannChandigarh, May 20 (UNI) Punjab unit chief of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Bhagwant Mann on Monday expressed satisfaction over the unflagging enthusiasm exhibited by the people of Punjab, specially in Sangrur and Bathinda Lok Sabha segments, and thanked them for taking active part in the mega festival of democracy, which concluded on May 19.In a statement here, the sitting MP said the party had contested the Lok Sabha elections purely on core issues, concerning all categories of people, adding that AAP performed its role as the principal opposition party in Punjab Assembly.
