AAP campaign gains momentum as Cong families join party at Phagwara

Phagwara, Jan 20 (UNI) The election campaign of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Joginder Singh Mann on Thursday gained momentum as around 30 Congress families joined the party at village Sikri.
Welcoming the Congress families into the party fold, Mann said that AAP wave will sweep through entire Punjab in the coming polls. He said that it is the writing on wall that AAP will form the next government in Punjab and Bhagwant Mann will be the Chief Minister of state. He said that this can be done only with the support of people and huge positive response from the masses was reflecting that people are with AAP.
He said that AAP is getting massive response from all sections of society in both urban and rural areas. He said that people have for years witnessed musical chairs of power amongst Congress, BJP and Akalis. He said that these parties have protected the interests of each other when they are in power which has led to scams like post matric scholarship scam and mushrooming up of sand, transport and others mafia in the state.
