AAP accuses central government of favouring Adani in Bihar land and power deal

New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today levelled serious allegations against the central and Bihar governments, claiming preferential treatment was given to the Adani Group in a major land and power agreement.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated that 1,050 acres of fertile land in Bhagalpur, Bihar, was handed over to the Adani Group for a token sum of one rupee to establish three power plants.
He further claimed that the state government has agreed to purchase electricity from these plants at a fixed rate of seven rupees per unit for the next 25 years.
