AAP accuses BJP of openly violating model code of conduct

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday alleged that BJP leaders openly violate the model code of conduct, yet no action is taken against them, whereas an FIR is promptly registered against Chief Minister Atishi.
Kejriwal wrote on X, “Their leaders openly distribute money, sarees, blankets, gold chains, and create fake voter IDs, yet not a single FIR is registered. But an FIR is immediately filed against Chief Minister Atishi.”
“AAP is fighting against the entire system. Together with the people, we have to change and clean up this rotten system. Both BJP and Congress are part of the same decayed system,” he added.
Meanwhile AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, “The police are theirs, the arbitrariness is theirs, and so are the FIRs. That is why BJP leaders, despite openly distributing cash, blankets, sarees, and creating fake voter IDs, face no FIRs. But an FIR is filed against the Chief Minister?”
He further stated, “We are not afraid of BJP's empty threats. We are out to change this decades-old, rusted system. The shops of old parties are closing down, so they will naturally be agitated. We are ready for every challenge.”
