Aamir receives huge welcome in China

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, whose films 'Dhoom3' and 'PK', evoked an excellent response in China, was accorded a huge welcome by people in Beijing.
Trade sources said hordes of fans greeted Aamir yesterday to attend the premier of his super-hit film Dangal at the Beijing International Film Festival.
Aamir said, “There is a lot of similarity in our cultures.
I’m comfortable with Chinese people.
I feel closer to people in China than in the West.
A closer connection I feel.
I can feel the emotion when I come to China.
It is something that I really cherish.
' Aamir said he was happy over the response to his films in China.
' I’ve been acting for many years.
In the beginning, none of my films was popular in China, especially with youth in China.
Then Dhoom 3 and PK have also done so well here.
It makes me very happy that my work gets so much love from China,'he said.
Success of his films 'Dhoom 3' and 'PK' has made Aamir a known face in China.
'PK' set a record of over Rs 100 crore with a release across 4,000 plus screens in the country.
Now 'Dangal' is set to release in China and trade experts feel that film is likely to evoke a good response from people there.
Aamir will be next seen in 'secret superstar' and 'Thugs of Hindostan'.
