A day of daughters, sisters as Ningol Chakkouba is celebrated in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 9 (UNI) 'Ningol Chakouba' is a special day for the married daughters in Manipur, on this special day every married women are invited for a grand feasts by their parents and brothers.
Manipur today celebrated one of the biggest festival of Manipur the Ningol Chakkouba a festival of love and bonding between brothers and sisters.
Special fish mela is organised in every corner of the state as fish is one of the favourite fish of the people. Since last midnight every shop was opened to enable people to do their last minute shopping.
