A Budget that stimulates the economy with social responsibility: Dy CM Shinde

Mumbai, Mar 6 ( UNI) Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said here on Friday that the annual budget for 2026-27 presented by the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was a visionary budget that aims for balanced development of both rural and urban Maharashtra.
On one hand, it shows social responsibility by announcing a farm loan waiver and provisions for the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme, while on the other hand it seeks to boost the economy by improving connectivity between villages and cities across the state.
Reacting on Budget proposals, deputy CM Shinde said that the budget gave clear direction for vision Developed Maharashtra 2047. He said that vision Developed Maharashtra 2047 will be built on four key pillars —progressive development, sustainability, inclusiveness, and good governance -- and that the state has now received a clear direction for development, Shinde said.
