90 players drafted for second Bengal Women’s T20 Blast

Kolkata, Nov 28 (UNI) After the rousing success of the inaugural edition of the Byju’s Bengal Women’s T20 Blast, drafting for the second edition took place today with 90 women cricketers
for six clubs to pick their teams from.
The meet is all set to roll out on December 5 at the picturesque MGR Cricket Academy Ground at Suri with the clubs fighting for the top honours. The purpose behind organising the meet is to identify, promote and nurture talents from Bengal and also to expose the players to the high-octane T20 competition with an eye to the Women’s IPL that BCCI plans to launch soon.
