9,385 new COVID-19 cases in MP

Bhopal, Jan 20 (UNI) The novel coronavirus curve displays absolutely no sign of flattening in Madhya Pradesh where 9,385 fresh instances of infection were reported following analysis of 80,040 tests over the past 24 hours thereby taking the number of active cases to 49,741.
"The recovery rate is 92.81 per cent but new sufferers include 75 law-enforcement personnel. Until this juncture, 846 members of that category have been thus affected," state Home Minister and government spokesman Narottam Mishra told the press here on Thursday.
