8.40 lakh quintals sugar produced in Haryana sugar mills

Chandigarh, Jan 4 (UNI) The cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 8.40 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 96.13 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.
Stating this here on Friday, a spokesman for Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has produced a maximum of over 1.64 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 17.90 lakh quintals of sugarcane. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak has produced over 1.34 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 15.97 lakh quintals of sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has produced 98,415 quintals of sugar by crushing 10.88 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal, which has produced 93,680 quintals of sugar by crushing 10.34 lakh quintals of sugarcane. Similarly, the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has produced 82,100 quintals of sugar by crushing 10.45 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced 63,730 quintals of sugar by crushing 6.88 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has produced 57,625 quintals of sugar by crushing 6.30 lakh quintals of sugarcane, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has produced 56,340 quintals of sugar by crushing 6.94 lakh quintals of sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has produced 14,400 quintals of sugar by crushing 2.15 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
