65 pc turnout in 4-MCs, 7-Nagar Panchayat & Panchayat election 3-block in HP

Shimla, Apr 7 (UNI) Approximately 65 per cent voter turnout was recorded in four municipal corporations, new seven Nagar Panchayats' and many Gram Panchayat polls in three developmental block of Shimla and Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, a state election official said.
State Election Commission report said that 65 per cent polling was recorded in Dharamshala, Mandi, Solan and Palampur MCs as 92151 people used their franchise.
Results are expected later tonight as counting of votes is underway after the voting for these MC from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs.
