63 retired patwaris and 4 Kanungos to be deployed in Hamirpur

Hamirpur, Jan 17 (UNI) In order to give Phillip to the revenue works in the state, the Himachal Pradesh government has decided to appoint retired patwaris and kanungos.
In Hamirpur, the Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore said that 63 Patwaris and 4 Kanungos will be appointed in the district.
Retired Patwaris and Kanungos up to 65 years of age can apply for these positions by January 31 at the Deputy Commissioner's office using the prescribed form. She said that the applicant must have worked in the Revenue Department for at least 5 years and there should be no disciplinary action pending against them.

Lawyer shot dead in Rampur Panchayat office dispute

Rampur, Feb 11 (UNI) A 45-year-old lawyer was shot dead inside the Rampur District Panchayat office on Wednesday afternoon following a dispute with a clerk.
The deceased has been identified as Farooq, a practicing advocate for nearly 30 years. The accused is Asghar Ali, a clerk at the district panchayat office.

ED raids British citizen's house over alleged financial irregularities around Madrasa

Sant Kabir Nagar, Feb 11 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday conducted a raid at the residence of Maulana Shamshul Huda, a British citizen originally from Sant Kabir Nagar district.
A three-member ED team from Lucknow reached his house in the Meeth Mandi area under Khalilabad Kotwali limits around 8 AM. The officials seized the mobile phones of family members present at the house and began questioning his wife and daughter-in-law. His son, Tausif Raza, was reportedly not present during the raid.
