62 pc Kashmiri Pandits cast vote for Anantnag Assembly

Jammu, Apr 23 (UNI) As many as 62 per cent voting was registered by the displaced Kashmiri Pandits in the third phase of ongoing Lok Sabha elections for Anantnag parliamentary constituency on Tuesday.
In total, 4101 Kashmiri migrants exercised their franchise at 22 polling stations setup in Jammu, Udhampur and New Delhi out of 6901 voters of Anantnag district consisting six assembly segment namely Anantnag, Doru, Kokernag, Shangus, Bijbehara and Pahalgam were registered with M-Form with overall 62.34 polling percentage.
With fourteen votes polled at a special polling station established for Kashmiri Pandit (KP) migrants at JK House, in national capital, Delhi toped in migrants’ poll percentage among other two locations; Jammu and Udhampur.
