6 children sustain injuries as beam of main gate of Barara govt school in Ambala falls on them

Ambala, Dec 16 (UNI) About half a dozen children of the Government Primary School Barara were injured, some of them seriously, when a beam of the main gate collapsed and fell upon them, sources said.
All the injured children were passing through the gate when the incident occurred. Surprisingly no one from the school staff came to the rescue of the injured children and they lied on the gate bleeding and crying in pain. The people from the shops and residential houses came out to help the children and they were taken to the private medical practitioner.
Some of the children who suffered fractures were taken to government hospital for treatment.
