Panaji, Sep 23 (UNI) The total confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Goa has gone up to 29,343 as 590 people tested positive on Tuesday while total number of people who succumbed to the infection increased to 368 as eight people died on same day.
According to Directorate of Health Services, 736 people recovered during the last 36 hours pushing the recovering rate to 79.96 per cent and total number of recovered patients to 23.462.
While 290 patients opted for home isolation, 239 patients were hospitalised. On Tuesday, 1863 new samples were tested taking the total samples tested so far to 2,40,206.
