536 new COVID 19 cases reported in Goa, 8 dead

Panaji, Sep 23 (UNI) The total confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Goa has gone up to 29879 as 536 people tested positive on Wednesday while total number of people who succumbed to the infection increased to 378 as eight people died on same day.
According to Directorate of Health Services, 395 people recovered during the last 36 hours pushing the recovering rate to 79.84 per cent and total number of recovered patients to 23,857.
While 402 new patients opted for home isolation, 247 patients were hospitalised. On Wednesday, 1872 new samples were tested taking the total samples tested so far to 2,42,078.
