500 cr sanctioned to develop High Density fruit plantation in J&K

Srinagar, Mar 17 (UNI) In order to strengthen the Horticulture sector, back bone of Jammu and Kashmir’s economy, an amount of Rs 500 crore has been sanctioned from Prime Minister’s Package to develop High Density fruit plantation in the state.
An official spokesperson here today said an amount of Rs 500 crore has been set aside for High Density fruit plantation in the Prime Ministers Package.
He said 50 hectares are being brought under High Density fruit plantation this year and order for such plant material and rootstock has already been placed.
