50-60 unarmed NLFT cadres still remain: BSF

Agartala, Dec 24 (UNI) Though dwindling in strength, banned outfit National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) is still having about 50 to 60 unarmed cadres hiding in different parts across the border, as Bangladesh government has already dismelted all the hideouts in it’s soil, said officiating IG BSF of Tripura Frontier A K Yadav today.
He said that BSF is on high alert owing to ongoing election activities in Bangladesh and further action in the security management of Indo-Bangladesh border as and when required. Explaining the border
situation along Tripura, Yadav pointed out that BSF has mobilized all efforts for containing cross border crime and smuggling activities, which the state government given highest priority.
