5 LeT members involved in looting J&K bank, arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 26 (UNI) Five Lashkar-e-Toiba Over the Ground Workers (OGW), who were allegedly involved in looting Rs 14-lakh from a J&K bank in central Kashmir district of Budgam four days back, have been arrested in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
“Five LeT OGWs were arrested by Pulwama Police. The accused were involved in looting Rs 14-lakh on November 21 from J&K Bank in Budgam,” SP Pulwama Rayees Ahmad Bhat told UNI. However, he said the money has already been supplied to the militants.
“Following various leads and trial left by the accused in looting of J&K bank incident on November 21 in Budgam, police used technology and human resource to zero in on one Mohammad Iqbal Wani,” official sources said. They said during questioning, Wani disclosed the names of two more accused, Tanveer Alam Wani and Farooq Ahmad Bhat involved the crime.
