45-year-old killed by speeding vehicle in Pulwama

Srinagar, May 25 (UNI) A 45-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle at Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Saturday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
He said a speeding Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), hit and critically wounded one Majid Mir, resident of Dangerpora, Awantipora this afternoon. The injured was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. The driver along with the vehicle fled away from the spot.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and massive hunt launched to track the car and the driver.
