44th International Kolkata Book Fair 2020 to be inaugurated on Jan 28 in view of Saraswati Puja festivities on Jan 29

Kolkata, Jan 27 (UNI) The inauguration of the 44th International Kolkata Book Fair 2020 will be held tomorrow at 6 pm, instead of January 29 as scheduled earlier, in view of the Saraswati Puja celebrations.
The Fair will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in presence of Vladimir Grigoriev, H.E. Mr Kudashev Nikolay Rishatovich, Ambassador of Russia in India, Mr Aleksei Idamkin, Consul General of Russia in Kolkata, Mr Eugene Vodolazkin, Mr Vadim Polonsky and Eugene Reznichenko from the Theme Country Russia , eminent essayist Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri and Ministers of West Bengal.
On the occasion of Russia being the Theme Country, four books have been translated from Russian to Bengali and will be published at the Book Fair.
