44 Central University Students Selected by Top Companies, VC Distributes Pre-Placement Offer Letters

Dharmashala, May 18 ( UNI) Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal on Monday said the university is actively promoting a skill development-oriented education system to ensure better employment opportunities for students after graduation.
Addressing a function organised to distribute pre-placement offer letters to selected students, Prof. Bansal said the university has emerged as one of the leading institutions in the country in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP). He said several departments are working towards designing and teaching skill-based courses to enhance students’ employability.
He added that departments have been organising various training programmes and activities for students, including pre-placement interaction sessions with companies invited to the university campus. As a result of these efforts, 44 students from different departments have secured selections in various companies during the current financial year.
