4 people dead in hospital fire outside Rome

Rome, Dec 9 (UNI) A blaze broke out at a hospital in the Italian town of Tivoli, near Rome, killing four people and prompting an overnight evacuation of the medical facility, Italian firefighters said on Saturday.
"The building has been evacuated, including with the help of vehicles with ladders. Four casualties have been confirmed. Fire extinguished, operations continue," the firefighters said on X.
All of the victims are elderly people, Il Messaggero newspaper reported, adding that two people were severely poisoned by the smoke that quickly spread through the eight-story building.
