Acting on a complaint lodged with the Bhiwandi town police station by one Zulfiquar Abdul Hamid Mulla, an AC parts seller from Vanzaarpatti Naka of the Bhiwandi town of the district, the four accused -- his second wife Khalida Zulfiquar Mulla, Naseem Vasim Khan, Sayeed Rasheed Zulfar (both residents of Mahapoli of Bhiwandi taluka) and Ubed Ahmed Habib Shaikh alias Baba Juber from Govandi in Mumbai, who practised witchcraft -- were arrested late last night, the sources in city police said today. According to the complaint, the four accused were planning to make use of the black magic and kill the complaint's first wife Aneesa and her two children.
