3029 houses under PMAY-G ready to be handed over to poor families of Kupwara

Srinagar, Mar 28 (UNI) As many as 3029 houses out of 3402 are at the final stage of completion under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Gramin for the poor families in the frontier north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, an official spokesman said.
In Kupwara district during the financial year 2022-23 under (Non-SECC) PMAY(G), out of 3402 sanctioned houses, 3029 houses are at the final stage of completion despite heavy snowfall and harsh weather conditions during winters.
The PMAY-G is successfully fulfilling dreams of several poor and vulnerable families of having their own pucca house in the district.
