Kolkata, Aug 12 (UNI) As many as three public interest litigations (PILs) have been filed in the Calcutta High Court over the alleged rape-cum-murder of a 2nd year post-graduate medical student at the government-owned RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in the city, a lawyer said on Monday.

The three pleas were mentioned before a Bench comprising Chief Justice T S Sivagnanam and Justice Hiranmay Bhattacharyya are likely to be taken up on Tuesday.
