3 persons including one woman arrested under NDPS Act

Dharamshala, Oct 27 (UNI) Kangra police has arrested three persons, including a woman in two different cases under different sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, at Icco mode near Dharmshala and Chobin Baijnath after police recovered more than 1 kg Charas from their posession, police said here on Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kangra district Kaushal Sharma told UNI that one person identified as Ajay Kumar, resident of Chchian Mustgard Jawali was arrested at Icco mode Dharamshala falling under Dharamsala police station after the recovery of 584 grams of Charas from his possession. He was arrested under sections 20, 61 and 85 of NDPS Act and case was registered at Dharamsala police station, SSP disclosed.
SSP Kaushal said that in another case two persons were arrested including a woman when 432 grams of Charas was recovered from their vehicle at Lower Rain Shelter Chobin falling under Baijnath police station on Tuesday late evening. Both of them have been arrested under 20, 25, 29, 61 and 85 sections of NDPS Act. The vehicle used in the crime was impounded.
