3 member committee headed by Chief Sec to examine IPS Akshay Sachdeva’s case

Gangtok,Jul 19 (UNI) Chief Secretary Alock Shrivastav will head the committee constituted to examine the case of IPS Akshay Sachdeva.
The other two members of the committee are Additional Chief Secretary Home Dapartment of Sikkim S C Gupta and Director General of Sikkim Police Avinash Mohananey.
A writ petition was filed by Kala Rai and others against Sachdeva, the then IGP (2013), in Supreme Court for alleged molestation.
Sachdeva has been proved not guilty of it by Dwivedi Committee and a report of the findings has already been submitted to the Supreme Court.
The Apex Court wanted to know the steps taken by State government here in the matter. The three member Committee headed by Alock Shrivastav has been constituted to look into it.
