3 Haryana Police officers to be awarded with HM's Medal for Excellence in Investigation

Chandigarh, Aug 13 (UNI) Three Police Officers from Haryana, including a Women Police officer, have been chosen to be awarded with ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ for 2020.
Stating this here on Thursday, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that Kaithal district Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan, Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar and Lady Sub-Inspector Rita Rani, are among the 121 awardees across the country selected for this prestigious award.
The Kaithal SP will be honoured for speedy investigation in the rape of a six year old girl in which the accused was later held guilty and was sentenced to life imprisonment alongwith imposition of a fine of Rs 30,000 in Jhajjar district.
