3 Dead, 66 injured in violent Mozambique protests

Maputo, Nov 8 (UNI) At least three people died and 66 others were injured in this Mozambican capital after opposition protesters angered by the presidential election outcome clashed with police, the emergency service chief at Central Hospital of Maputo said on Friday.
"At least three people died and 66 were injured in clashes between protesters and police on Thursday," Dino Lopes was quoted as saying by Portugal’s Lusa news agency.
Lopes said that 57 of those admitted to hospitals had gunshot wounds, four were injured in a fall, three were physically assaulted, and two were wounded by bladed weapons. Four patients were in grave condition, he added.
