Patna, Jan 20 (UNI) Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Ramvilas Paswan announced to fully cover the country under “ one nation one ration card” scheme from June this year and said that three crore fake ration cards were identified in the country and 44404 in Bihar since introduction of the scheme.
Mr Paswan told media here today that these fake cards were identified following linking of ration cards with the Aadhar card. He said that under the scheme no new ration card would be needed for inter-state portability and the existing cards would be valid across the country.
