3 criminals arrested in Godda

Godda, Jan 12 (UNI) Police has arrested three criminals, who were wanted in connection with loot and extortion from Basantrai Police Station area of this district.
Addressing a press conference here today, Godda SP Rajeev Ranjan said the three criminals were also wanted in connection with firing upon a shopkeeper in Banshipur. He said a 'desi katta' and a live cartridge was also recovered from them.
The SP said that the incident in Banshipur village had took place in the night of December 10 following which a team was formed under SDPO Abhishek Kumar and managed to arrest the trio.
