28-year-old youth commits suicide in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 11 (UNI) A 28-year-old youth committed suicide by consuming poison in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
A police spokesperson siad here today that the youth consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Sopore. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
It was not immediately clear why hetook this extreme step. The spokesperson said, adding that police have registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the circumstance which forced him to commit suicide.
