27K species will extinct every yr due to degradation of ecosystems : Dr Bishnoi

Hisar, Jun 4 (UNI) Dean of Research, Department of Environmental, Guru Jambeshwar University Prof Narsi Ram Bishnoi said about 27,000 species are going to extinct every year due to the degradation of ecosystems.
On the eve of World Environment Day here on Thursday , he observed that owing to change in environment, the condition of many living species is becoming vulnerable and humans are mainly responsible for the change of environment and biodiversity.
Dr Bishnoi said, "Theme of World Environment Day-2020 is ‘celebrate biodiversity’-- a concern that is both urgent and existential. Biodiversity describes the diversity of life on Earth. It is directly based on the relationship between man and nature."
