Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 14 2017 9:04PM 23rd anniversary of renaming of Marathwada University observed in AurangabadAurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 14 (UNI) On the 23rd anniversary of the renaming of the Marathwada University after Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the members of the dalit community and people from all walks of life paid homage to Dr Ambedkar's statue at the main gate of BAMU campus. The day is observed to commemorate the martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause. The day is also celebrated as 'Sangharsh Din'. Since morning, people of various organizations reached the BAMU campus and paid floral tributes to Dr Ambedkar's statue.
