23 new cases detected in Sangli

Sangli, Maharashtra, Jul 2 (UNI) Total 23 new cases were tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday in the district, while 14 more positive patients were discharged.
In a official press release, total 23 peoples including eight women ( 9-year-old girl among them ) were tested positive for the virus, taking toll of positive patients in the district to 428.
While on other side, with getting relief to district peoples, total 14 more positive patients were discharged during the day today following became corona free and now the total of discharged patients reached upto 255.
A 40 year old man, resident of Athani village in Belgaum district in Karnataka state, who was admitted at Miraj mission hospital here, suffering from novel corona and on ventilator, died during the medical treatment.
With total discharging 255 out of total positive patients 428, total active 160 corona positive patients were admitted in isolation wards for medical treatment. Twelve positive patients were passed away due to corona till date and today's one from Athani village in Belgaum district.

NETC FASTag crosses 86 million transactions in July

Pune, Aug 11 (UNI) The National Payments Corporation of India(NPCI) on Tuesday stated that the transaction count of NETC FASTag under the National Electronic Toll Collection(NETC) programme has crossed 86 million in July, a sharp jump of 54 per cent as compared to previous two months.
