222 more polling stations sanctioned to Telangana

Hyderabad, Nov 18(UNI) The Election authorities have sanctioned 222 more polling stationed and will be set up in the 31 districts of poll-bound Telangana State for the purpose of voting on the polling day on December 7.
Disclosing this here on Sunday, State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Dr Rajat Kumar, said, the sanctioning of these many auxiliary polling stations by the Election Commission had pushed up the total number of the polling stations in the State to 32,796 from 32,574.
The auxiliary polling stations have been sought to accommodate the overflow of voters from the regular polling stations.
