22-yr-old mauld to death by bison in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 17 (UNI) A 22-year-old youth was killed by a bison at Kaurwadi (Najar Bhogav) in Panhala tehsil of the district on Saturday.
The youth, Nilesh Dhondiram Khot, resident of Kaurwadi, was on his way to bring fodder from his field this evening, when the bison suddenly came in front of Nilesh and attacked him.
Seriously injured Nilesh was rushed to Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Hospital, where he succumbed during the treatment.
The Panhala police are conducting further probe into the incident.

Industrial worker booked for attempted murder of female colleague, attempted suicidein Palghar

Palghar, Sep 18 (UNI) An industrial worker from a switch manufacturing unit at Khairpada in Valiv of Vasai has been booked by the district Rural Police for allegedly attempting to murder a female co-worker and then attempting to commit suicide.
